    Probably not legal.
100Watts is a like high beam, everyone will flash you.
    You will dazzle other drivers.

    I think 55Watts is normal.

100W can blow fuses and melt wires if it's not the factory/recommended bulb.

Those look like normal bulbs with a blue film... I doubt they'd be any good with that much tint on them.

lol. the supercheap ones are actually quite good. I'd recommend the ones that are tinged blue but also advertise 50% more light. Am using them at the moment, and they put out a bright white light. Is only a slightly blue tinged bulb.

100W bulbs will likely fry your wiring and melt your headlight assemblies.

I'd be more inclined to buy genuine name-brand bulbs (Osram Night Breakers, Philips X-tremes, etc) from reliable online stores (www.powerbulbs.co.uk) or retail stores (Supercheap Auto, Repco, etc), than trust what comes from most eBay stores - many counterfeits are sold via eBay, so you're probably not getting what you're paying for (or not paying for) there.

Also be aware that whilst blue-tinged light may look pretty (a matter of personal opinion which I don't actually agree with), your eyes are pretty average at using it - yellower bulbs actually give you more usable light (and you'll suffer less backscatter/reflection off rain/fog/snow etc).

High beams are thus named because they're aimed higher, not necessarily because they're brighter. So as long as your headlights are aimed correctly, 100W bulbs shouldn't bother other people (but see my previous comment about damage to your own car...).

Do you have the name of the product mate? I'd be interested in checking them out at supercheap.

I ran 90w/130w in my U13 Nissan for 7 years. The lights were adjusted properly & I never received a flash in 120,000km.

The U13 had glass lenses, etc & never had any issues. I don't think 90/130 would be sensible in a modern plastic lense enclosure as it would melt.

Dumb question for anyone.... Are those bulbs the OP linked to really Xenons? You can have Xenons that aren't HIDs?

As far as I can tell, they're standard filament style bulbs with Xenon gas in the gas-mix within the bulb (not uncommon), or in the case of the first, "xenon-style" meaning "bluish light to help the cops find you easier".

Follow manaz' post and go to powerbulbs.UK. IIRC Manaz even has a discount code for them.

If you want to use xenon bulbs, get a proper xenon kit conversion. OEM is ~$2,200 from tmtuning, or you can get an aftermarket one from ebay for ~$600. If you want, brighter/whiter light get some philips x-tremes, blue visions or ("slightly" illegal) diamond visions bulbs for ~ $60 - $150.
