      there's no exact definition for stance. for some cars, which tuck wheel for example, might be lower than cars with 'poke'.

      it's all about getting the right amount of rake, if any, the right hieght in relation to the wheels and style of car, wheel arch to tyre gap, offset and size of the wheels, and even tyre size.

      it's all about making the car look awesum, which doesn't nessecarily mean dumped.

      that's my 'short quick' view on stance. but it varies between brand, models, years etc, even colours.

        i think my understanding is something along the lines of how aggressive or proportional everything is in relation.
