    hi every one, i'm having issue with my car, for some reason i'm sitting on the traffic light and suddenly the engine stop, it happend twice today, before and after i replace the spark plug. no idea what is happening, dose any one have this problem or had this problem?

    Best bet would be to get it to someone who can run VAGCOM over it and see what error codes the computer's throwing...

        Why do you think that? It's unlikely that the alternator will cause the engine to stall (though the cluster can throw up a "check alternator" or similar warning because the alternator also stops when the engine stops).
        Nothing to see here...

            Seriously, get it checked with VAGCOM. The error codes will likely tell you where the issue lies, removing a large amount of guesswork.

            Whereabouts are you located (if you fill in the location field in your profile, it helps people match you to services in your area for things like this)?

                By a VW dealership, or someone who's a VW expert?

                Some "generic" workshops may not be equipped to scan the ECU and find the error codes.

                  yes that is true, i'm getting it scan in 2 different places and see if i get the same outcome.

                    it might not be a fault. does it show "service now" on the trip computer? i remember when my did the engine would automatically shut down at idle (some crappy safety feature). i simply reset the service interval and it was fixxed.

                      ijust my car and reset the trip computer, and it did id again as i drive in to my drive way. but here what tha scan show.

                      o2 heater circut
                      B1 heating circuit open
                      coolant temp signal high

                      now could any of this can couse my engine problem?

                        Coolant temp sensor? I'd replace it in any case.
