Turbo Beetle

Just out of curiosity, how many Turbo Beetles are still around? I havent seen one around for ages....

not sure how many were sold in total but they were only available for a few years... i think from 2000 to 2003. (feel free to correct me on this)
i dont see many new beetles around in the early shape.. see more with the later 2005 onwards shape and the newer taillights.
there was one on carsales for a while.. not sure if its still there... lots of mods done to it.

I didnt really know they were a limited run... I'm always on the look out for them, but they just seem to be so rare...

yeah for some reason VW Oz decided not to keep them in the line up. think it was part of the rationalisation of the models.

I pulled off from the traffic lights in the normal way I do and a Beetle turbo flew past. They don't look to shabby, now if only we got the R Beetle

in stock form they aren't much chop... but chipped they become a beast.

Yeh they probably have the same drivetrain as the GTI.

Yeah my cousin and his wife had a Blue Turbo beetle [BLESSD] (Something along that), chipped and a few other mods. That was quick! Last time I heard though they sold it...
