coilovers havnt been touched for ages.
last time would have been the rear was lifted 1cm for German Auto Fest in ACT, that 1cm was lowered again not long after that show

so that bit thats touching the ground actually got ripped off the other day... reason I turned up to the pub meet in Golfmans polo lol.
heres a shot to an actual fixed part



also got these badboys to use as parts and a template to rebuild my original teledials. going for a bit more width this time...
these are 18x8.5et27 and 18x9.5et50something. where as mine are 18x8.5et50ish and 18x9et45. so going to mount my 9 on the front, then use the parts from these to create a 9.5 or 10 with mk4 friendly offsets for the back. then ill be switching to a 215/35 and 225/35 rather then the normal 40 profile so i can get a bit lower.

the ground is not the problem, i bottom out once or twice on the way home to bairnsdale from melbourne, and once on the way to school when i hit the whitehorse road train tracks but other then that its fine.
problem is if i turn left and get ANY body roll, the frame sits on the drivers side driveshaft none stop.
i need to sell one more set and ill have suspension sorted...

also lost a lower grille and part of my 4mo lip. so order a pair of lower grilles and i already have a new centre at home so will be looking a bit fresher up front

Don't throw those inner liners out, if you ever get defected (let's be honest here) you'll need em for roadworthy.

iv kept them all, but they are pretty shagged so im not sure if they would pass anyway...
