  • WTF is going on? MK4 Bora 4mo

Driving at speed, regardless 60 or 80, there are times where every few seconds I get a pulling feeling momentarily, almost like the car is hesitating?

Eating a fair bit more petrol then it needs to also.

    AFM or 02 sensors?

    Thanks

mine is an 01, AUE engine code.

doesn't have individual coil packs, but the big single 6 in 1.

idle is ok here and there, sometimes in the morning, or whenever hasnt been started for a while idles at 1.1K.

does anyone nice have a scanner in s.e suburbs of melbs?

            thanks

Is yours drive by wire? Clean the TB and maf, check the plugs and gap of plugs, also check all the plug wires from the plugs to the coilpack..also try this link http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=804369

dont forget about the coolant temp sensor.......

you need a scan tool to be sure.

My V5 Bora started hestitating at odd moments, sometimes it was fine other times it lagged. A week later it suddenly started running really rough. Coilpack was the issue in my case.
