The Final Goodbye

Today I said my final goodbye to my R32 as it was picked up by CEVA transport for the trip to its new home in South Australia. I'm really going to miss the car but I know it is going to a great new owner who is going to use it in the manner it was built to be used though more on the street and as a track day car than in tarmac rallies.

For those of you in SA please keep an eye out for the new owner and make sure to say hi and welcome him to the VAG family if you come across him in your travels.

I have something even nicer coming that is in the final stages of negotiation so fingers crossed that it all works out and I will have it in my hands soon and then will be able to reveal all.

If it all goes as planned I'll be in Sydney on Monday and then it will be shipped up here shortly after that. Maybe a week or two to get here, not 100% sure on how long the guys shipping it will take to get organised.

Forgot about my interior swap. Swapped out my very good condition early mk4 clothes for some very dirty later model mk4 gti grey cloth recaros.
These were for the vento but couldnt have them sitting around doing nothing. Will be giving them a good clean and swapping my front door cards to the gti ones as mine were very scratched from the previous owner

Hi dylan, Yes was for sale for about a month before it sold. No mate he doesn't have much time for forums to busy down in SA. He did say to add him to the R32 register so I'm not sure who is running that now but he is happy to have his name added to that.

Taking out the Bora for a spin been a month since it's been driven, Warm it up,open all windows,open sunroof,plug in i-pod,
turn up the volume,hit the gas and enjoy the drive...

You know the bora badge is screwed in and has a hole at the rear in the boot? not just a recess like the mk4 golfs.
