What have you done to your mk4 (golf/bora) today?

Next time I need tyres I'll be getting Nitto Invos. Good but not great in the dry, outstanding in the wet, funky looking and $170 each.

I'm rolling on the Nitto Invo and must say that they are definately a odd but funking looking tread.

Handling wise is quite good (havent pushed the car hard enough to test).

There is a bit of road noise, I wouldnt say that they are the quietest tyres.

Overall I'm happy and paid $200 per corner for Japanese tyres!!

Today, will be picking up a set of ceramic brake pads and a replacement filter for my BMC CDA CAI...yay!

I'm not with my car at the moment (I'm on my home from school) but I'm pretty sure they're pirelli p6's and it was also tie rods with $520 of labour

Treadwear of 260 for those nittos. Bit high isn't it? Funky looking tread pattern though!

Changed all the interior lighting to LEDs tonight. Looks pretty funky, nice and bright too.
If anyone is interested I got them from here (VW Golf IV INTERIOR LED Car Light Bulbs KIT) and took 2 weeks to arrive. Next is the aftermarket stereo leds, but thats a bit more of a project :S

Plugged in my new ebay VAGCOM cable today...
Only a couple of errors to fix / clear...

1. ABS - 01276 - 16-10 (Badly needs brakes bled properly)
2. CC - 00953 - 25-10 - Interior Light Switch Time Limit Switch Condition Intermittent
3. CC - 00943 - 35-00 - Shareware version... lol.
4. CC - 00930 - 27-00 - Shareware version... lol.

All in all, not too bad...

For the $99 it is worth paying to register VCDS-Lite, I got the money out of it in 5 minutes.

Finally got my hands on all the fluids to give the old girl some new blood...



Brakes, engine and diff. $200 in those little bottles, the car wont know what happened to it

It'll be a VW thats definite but I'm not sure what type, id love a VR6 but i guess it all comes down to what ill be able to afford and whats for sale
