:O so jealous... i wish i could afford wheels feel free to donate some to me at GAF haha
I cant/shouldn't afford all these. some I got cheap imo, others just had to have and will hold on to for a long time and fit to different cars down the track.
Id say my wheel collection is worth more then the car itself
Haha yeah I know I will I just wish I was working full time so things could happen, just finishing year 11 now and I might be going to uni in the US because my dad lives there, so it might not happen to this car but I'll have a sexy VW some day
US will be even better, can get a bora for nothing, dont have stupid height and wheel fitments rules and parts will be cheaper/easier to get.
plus they have bora GLi, nomnomnom!
I finished fitting up some of my new wheels click for teaser
about to order some adapters for the other new ones.
realised iv purchased 6 sets of wheels since I had the BBS on for the first time only a year ago... whoops
its working fine still have some little things that need to be adheared to like a noisy water pump and a tricky clutch (guessing its not only my car but all 4-mo's ) but other then that the whole car drives and handles like new , was a bit smokey for the first 100ks but that my kind of my fault for getting oil in the exhaust of the car XD ...
im so jelouse of your wheel fittment man looks amazing would love to see it in real life i bet it must be a Bi**h on speedbumps and steep driveways tho kind of why im trying to keep mine standard height since ive nearly ripped of the front lip countless times in my sisters mk4

Sounds good!
I know all about the oil in/on the exhaust... dont want to drive it, but really have to to burn it off.
Well its already sitting on the tyre on one side and that was just driving down my drive way. Some camber should be in order shortly.

Yes, but they also dont have the 4wd versions
sigpic 2001 Turbo! 4mo Bora 'Boring' | Carbinaro CAI | Fixing broken stuff | Sorting the Turbo Goodness! | BBS Lm's 18x8.5 | KW V2's | 4 pot Brembo's
That's also true!!! But if I do go I'd probably either buy a GLI or I'd use my dads car because I'd only really need it during summer when we go to long island and aren't in NYC because driving sucks there!!!
Got my ebay cable today and fired up VCDS-Lite, didnt realise it was shareware so bought a licence and waiting on the email. Damn random misfire keeping the car in the garage is so annoying.
