Got my fleabay obdII dongle and connected it, without starting the car and just ignition on the torque app was able to connect and I could see all the sensors. Will take the car for a drive later and see how well it works, no stored fault codes but I know my temp sender is fubar so I that will be the real test the next time it wigs out and the temp gauge drops to zero.

EDIT: Started the car and all the dials, graphs and widgets in the app on my phone fired up. I havent gone through to see if all the sensors have data but it looks to be able to read fuel trims etc with no dramas as well as timing advance, throttle position, MAF readings etc as well as having O2 voltages and a heap of other stuff. I only have the free version of the app for my phone, waiting on confirmation from the developer that he has included a full list of VW pid's before I pay five of my hard earned dollars for the full thing. I am also waiting on the download of the software that comes with the dongle to run on the laptop that seems to be pretty full on for some cheap crap, could be useful for logging etc.

No faults logged, which is either very good or it cant read them correctly, will have to wait and see. Will try and do some more research to find out how good this is. Its not a vag com but for a total purchace price of $23 it could be a very useful diagnostic tool and its wireless.

also replica anni sideskirts, front and rear valances arrived today.
painting tomorrow (hopefully all goes well - first time painting with 2pac (any tips or websites greatly appreciated!!!))

Looks great. I'll have to get round to removing the ugly number plate holder on mine and fitting a cupra lip. Where and how much did your lip damage the sky rocket.

VW is seriously money hungry... $450 for a freaking key!!! stupid PO only gave the dealer one key and i also have to have key made for the roof racks because the PO kept that too!!! damn buying from a dealer

Nah the dealer got it from another dealer next door who dont have cars under 15 grand and they didnt give the details

Anyway..... Fitted the r32 bumper and now I cannot get into my garage. Car is way to low. Fark!!!!
No idea what I'm gonna do coz it looks like if I take the splitter off I may still scrape.... ****e!!!!
Stupid driveway. So annoyed right now.

My car is only dropped 40 mm with stock bumpers and I still scrape on some driveways and bottom out on some bad roads, I dont know how you guys with super low cars get by. But that bumper and lip does look very nice.
