Heh Those lines are real wankers. Couldn't figure out why it was running like crap until i saw it broke near that valve there. Replaced that line with flexi vacuum line and still had the problem. It turns out it broke at the next part and broke again when i replaced that. Stupid hard lines. How much did that cost to get fixed?sigpic

They seem to crack with regularity - odds are that if one end is cracked the other one soon will be. Cost me $160 for the two hoses from the dealer as I couldn't source them elsewhere - ie. the complete two hose/valve assembly you see out of focus in the front and the one that's in focus clipped to the firewall - $86.45 each but I talked them to $80

Just gave her a oil change and new oil filter. Installed Bright White Headlights and redone my tail light tinting.
Coming up alright in the looks dept now.
Thats all for this week till my fogs arrive
Also, ordered Foggys from germany to sit in the lower gaurd, gonna take about 21 days to arrive. n

hes keen, but could be a pain in the arse and a lot of mucking around.Originally posted by RolfGolf View PostWhat's the verdict on the 1.8T?
Getting it all in no worries, getting all the various components in the car to talk is something else in the mk4s

Would be a cool project for sure, but only like you say if you've got the time and budget to sort out all the niggly little problems that would arise from the swap.Originally posted by dylan8 View Posthes keen, but could be a pain in the arse and a lot of mucking around.

To S.A. it usually takes about a week and a half to 2 weeks ... Eastern states not as long.Originally posted by zakkus View PostHey Mate.
