  • Well, got my car back from the wheel alignment and, WOW. What a difference! Those bushes and swaybar just transform the handling, i couldn't get any understeer out of it on the way home on a couple corners i previously did. The bushes just tighten it all up! Feels so good!

        Sorry to hear it.

Personally I wouldn't insure with the NRMA, ever since they wanted to replace my dad's luxury car panels with non-genuine and 2nd hand parts, they lost me!
Choice of repairer with a proper agreed value is the way to go. I've never looked back.

        • Finally received my small order from ECS today. (Window regulator repair kit, chrome bonnet strut & stubby antennae).
Had to wait a month before they had one of the items in stock and then it took an additional 3+ weeks to get it to me.
Can't believe they call it priority mail and charge what they do!!! Ross tech only took 2 days when I bought my VCDS.

Replaced my broken plastic window clips with the metal ones from the kit & fitted the bonnet strut.

Unfortunately the part that the stubby goes into was bent and when i tried to straighten it, it came out the top of the rubber base.
Not sure if I can get it back in thru the top or if I have to remove the entire base to fix it properly.
Anyone know what I mean and got any suggestions?

            Hey Ross,

I've got a full Thule setup, which includes the ovalised "aero" bars, 2x pro ride racks and a 44" fairing on the front. It's the only product i'd use, the quality is amazing, setup is crazy easy, and as for stability goes, it's just unreal. I've hammered around some corners in the passed with my bike on the roof and it just doesn't budge. Amazing product.

Sucks to hear about your ECS order taking so long Speed; my experiences to date have been great with ECS, super fast!

So I guess there great if your not in a hurry.
My problem was that I've had masking tape holding my drivers side window shut all this time. Oh well glad its sorted now.

That was probably due to some parts being on back order at ECS?? I just had an order with them and it only took around a week to get here!!

Wow, that is pretty good. According to the tracking, my stuff was shipped on 27 Jan and arrived at my house today.
Mind you, I only spent a small amount and almost half my order was postage.

Just sorted out my new stubby. Suspect the rubber base has hardened over time.

Drew I also like your rear wiper delete. Looks very clean!
