haha I'd say other than keeping the rears engaged during braking the difference would be unidentifiable between the two on public roads.
However having the rears engaged during braking is AWESOME! It makes the whole car super stable and you can brake a fair bit later due to that and the slight extra mechanical braking you get.
The car also responds to heel toeing better due to this
Great upgrade in my opinion Matt!
I wanna get this done too eventually. how much did it set you back incl shipping?
Including having it fitted it was about $1200 although I haven't received a bill from customs for import duty yet so we will see :S
1200 all up, unit, shipping and fitting ! thats alright.
If the price of the unit it self was less than a grand "aud" not including shipping charges then i don't think you will see a bill !
Where did you get it ? HPA ? who you get to fit it ?
Picked it up tonight and had a good blast and I like it! Throttle response is heaps better and no flat spot around the 3000/3500 revs.
Thats what ****s me to tears the flat spot of the normal tune. Can't wait to get rid of that, that's for sure. Just not yet sure of which tune i'll go for.
Glad you like it mate.
We'll soon have just about every QLD R32 with a different tune !

Haha yes it's so much better with no flat spot. I think the other tunes are a bit more aggressive but my wife drives it to work so I went for the smoother one.
Driving to Brisbane tomorrow night for the euro meet so looking forward to testing it on a long run.

It was like $1003.75 aus before shipping haha so i dunno if I will be billed or not :S lol
And I had Mike Weber at Prestige and Performance do it, he did it the day it arrived while I waited
Great bloke and does a top job along with knowing heaps about the MK4 R32's, I strongly recommend him!

Replaced thermostat and temperature sensor today - that lower bolt for the thermostat housing is a bugger to get out, but eventually got it. Flushed and replaced coolant. No more intermittent dash warning lights.
Used a Repco-brand headlight-restoration kit...and it was a disaster, the crazing on my headlight lense glass was only minor, and the sandpaper, even the wet-dry superfine paper scratched the crap out of my passenger's side headlight...so it it now wrecked!
DEFINITELY not worth using, save yourself the $25 and spend it in new lenses if your headlight lenses are crazed/stained.
Got got the updates for my tune loaded onto my ecu this morning. The car feels really smooth now at part throttle and is holding 21psi at 6500rpm
Thats what we want to hear mate, Niiiice.
Cheers

My detailing guy tried much the same technique but it only came back again after 6 months. Think the best thing to do would be invest in some glass lenses
