Hi All,
Volks tell me that the throaty sound coming out of my '01 Bora 2.0 is an issue with the catalytic converter.
However they advised me to go to Mr Muffler as it would cost "thousands" to get them to install a genuine VW part. Mr Muffler reckons an after-market one would be about $440.
Anyone got some experience of this? Would a metal one be okay? Is it much louder than a ceramic?
