  • ipod in stock stereo

Hey guys, is there any like auxilery ports or anything that i can plug my ipod into on the stock my 2000 golf stereo?

i dont need to be able to charge the i pod just so i can plug it in direct without the use of a fm transmitteer.

If not, is there any simple aftermarket add on so i can run my ipod thru this unit.

    Cheers guys.

You need an adapter that will plug into the back of the stereo. Not sure which stereo model you have in your dub but I think there should be one for yours. It has been covered on here before. Have a search in the audio forums and this section and you should find some websites both local and overseas with the adapters that can help you out. Dension, DICE and other manufacturers etc.
    Cheers,

I know this won't help much, but I'm sure that I remember seeing one that pluged into the unit as long as your unit had a CD in?

It resided in the glove box.

I didn't get it cause I didn't want to unplug the in-dash unit.

      Found it:
