R32 Exhaust mod !

It sounds great but like other Bora's (and unfortunately BMW's) they have that horrible tin raspiness to them (not the R32 raspiness either, that's nice). It sounds like there's something wrong!

The sound itself is definitely very horny though

Yeh thanks, the R32 is bit more highly strung. I had listen to one and I thought it sounded pretty similar albeit the bora is a bit more muffled.

I have to say my favourites would be an audi s5 with an awe exhaust or perhaps a ferrari 430 Oh and don't forget the 12 V vr6's with a decent exhaust

What's the length of the whole R32 system like compared to the Bora system? I'd guess the Bora's a bit longer than the R32...

If only you'd asked that an hour or so ago. I just picked my old exhaust up from the workshop and dropped it off at my parents place. Could've measured it for you.
I'm sure Graeme will let you know though.

Test fitted, removed dumped pipe, got a hold of another valence, just got to get the second pipe welded symetrically as I just put it in with a bracket and than cut the valence.

It is a LOT quiter now, I guess the dump pipe was causing reverbration through the cabin making it really drone. Doesn't drone much at all now.
