  • Colour Change in Mind

    Hi All,

Currently have a 2002 Golf and thinking about changing the colour from silver. Car has been in an accident and an excuse to change the colour....

Whats a cool colour change, any ideas please?

    Pics would be greatly appreciated!

Silver is very nice just wondering...

Many thanks in advance for any input

Unless you want it to be immediately obvious when you open a door/hatch/bonnet/look underneath the car that you've changed the colour (and likely had an accident), you'd need to strip the entire car back and respray the entire chassis/all panels.

It's a big, expensive job to do it right. Not saying you shouldn't do it (I've considered it with previous cars), but I'm a firm believer in doing something right if it's going to be done at all...

i agree with manaz. keep it silver unless you're doing a full chassis respray which would be stupid because an '02 golf is hardly rare and the respray would cost you more than the car is worth.

                Pick one:

                Past: Mk3 Golf 2L 8V, Audi 8L A3T.
                Present: Mk3 Golf variant.
