  • cleaning up the wheels!

well before i headed away decided to take my wheels off and give them a thorough clean and polish as they were good before but not as i wanted them..

still currently not on the car, however should be back on by tomorrow if i get the other 2 done!

i'd prefer to take them all apart (as they are 3 piece) however i dont have the patience/nor time to do it all and get it done 110% .. so 95% will have to do lol

    (before washed etc)

One of the best things I find to take most of the effort out of cleaning wheels is the Mothers Powerball mini. Bang it on a cordless drill and away you go. Very soft, no scratches even on polished wheels and works a treat

Looking good. Wheels can make or break a clean car. It definitely pays off to spend some time on your hands and knees giving them a good tub!

Any thoughts on changing the colour of the centres?

If the wheels are really dirty i will use liquid claybar(turtle Ice) then use the mother's minipower ball along with some flitz on the lips and turtle black liquid nano wax for the centers.

Maserati Brite Shine is good stuff for polishing aluminium/magnesium etc. I find it does a better job than autosol etc.

                        PS: Your wheels- Awesome.
