  • Mk4 with Ronal R10?

What would that look like exactly? Is it even a possible fitment? Did the Ronal R10 turbo wheels come in a 16x7 5 stud size?

I quite like the stock 5 spoke factory alloys my car's wearing right now, I was just thinking outside the box a bit. I know Ronal R10s are considered the dog's bollocks for Golfs, the same as Ronal/ALPINA wheels are for BMWs.

Can someone tell me what sizes the factory 5 spoke alloys are please?

I know they're 16" and they're wearing 205/55-16 tyres. Going by that, I'm guessing they're a 7" width? They are 5 stud. What's the offset and exact centre bore? Offset looks bigger than 20mm. Is centre bore Ø72.56mm like BMW wheels?

i think they are 6 or 6.5 wide..

the 17's (bora sportS) are 17x7.5 and same as the r32 wheels

    did you mean these?

dont suit mk4 too well imo

Yeah, I can see they might not suit the curvier body shape of the Mk4. They would much better suit a car with a proper body with edges and creases in it.

The Ronal R10s are definitely available in a 5 stud. BMW used to use them on E28 528i & E24 635CSi race cars in the '80s and they are both 5 stud. I agree however that I have never seen them above 15".

The 15" 5 stud version is extremely rare and used to be highly sought after in BMW circles. Not so much anymore though because of the 15" limit. There is a large selection of even better period-correct wheels for BMWs available in 16" & 17", so the 15" Ronals sorta got left behind.

I think ive seen zender turbos in a 16" 5 stud. Not sure about the PCD though.
Never really seen the ronals in anything other than a 4 stud.

Zender turbos came in 16inch and 5 stud. Not sure about 5x100 but have seen 5x112 and 5x120. Really nice rims and would be unique on a mk4
