  • Picked mine up from the post office today. It's a lot bigger than I expected but it feels pretty damn stiff.
I've also got the gearbox and engine mounts as well. They're also bigger than I expected and feel pretty stiff.
No idea when I'm going to have time to have these installed as work is absolutely flat out for the next few months and I'm starting to early to drop the car off at the same time.
Will probably wait a bit longer and organise a whole heap of things at once.
    Thanks again Costa.
    Cheers,
    Trent

Yeah my plan is probably save a bit more buy a Haldex and organise a skid plate as well. Then get all of those plus the mounts and my S3 lower tie bar installed at the same time.

        • S3 Lower tie bar?

Does my TT have the same?

Would have thought the R32 would of had the same?

Yeah it fits on all MkIVs and similar chasis's. As far as I know though only the 8L S3 has one, but I could be wrong there.
Tie bar Part number is: 8N0199403B
            Nutset Part Number is: N10467901
I've attached the installation jpeg as well. The only problem with installation is that it uses M10 size nutsets which require a hydraulic nutset installation tool. M10 is too large to use a hand tool.

                • fitted it to the TT along with the Haldex and APR TIP.

Awesome not one single vibration and the car feels tight with no delay in power transfer, gear shifts feel smooth and feel the power transfered much quicker.

                  Great work INA

                  • Finally got the mounts all fitted. I got all three in track spec. Must say the difference is hugely noticeable.
There is some vibration under acceleration above 3000rpm but it's not that bad and I actually don't mind it. The car feels more alive.
I can now shift at redline or drop two cogs and it just hooks in and goes. There's now no "bang" coming through as the engine flexes in the bay that I used to have. Even on the highway at 100km/h in 6th and just accelerating from there you can feel the difference.
                    Good stuff.
                    Cheers,
