I have seen many threads from America and Europe detailing how to do this, ie cook them in the oven, and use a heat gun, however i have tried both of these methods and none seem to work... I bought a pair of second hand headlights (thanks DUB20V ) to use the reflective piece, as i want to spray it black, so i dont mind if these units get butchered (sorry DUB20V ) but id rather not butcher my units while trying to put the new black reflective piece into my headlights...

has anyone attempted this with any luck? or am i just going to hear that im butchering a pair of headlights for fun

    Cheers Evan.

    Evan,

ive tried, i even have a spare pair.

and i hate to be the news bearer but it doesnt work with out headlights. they are sealed differently then the american/uk ones.

its a lot of work, your better off getting some AE headlights from ebay uk or blackened copies from us (make sure projector so u can flick from LHD or RHD on the headlight beams.

    What’s behind you doesn’t matter..
