mk4 bora roof racks (4mo)
Looking 4 racks for my surfboard, Can i even get them for this car no rails to mount them? help

Yep. If you can't find ones specificly for a bora, try a Mk4 Golf. They have the same roof.

Yeah I have some lying round, ill have to find them and let you know what brand. They are purpose made for the Bora....Bora has gone ;( Custom sub box and beige floor mats to suit for sale.Comment

I've got a racks from a corolla 06 model, you reckon they'd still fit on an MKIV?
would only be for surfboards.
According to the thule website, they use the same feet, but different struts, and a different mounting kit....
I doubt Thule will say it's ok to do, but what is the real world answer to this?
(I ask because we took the roofracks off the corrolla because they fricken made a whistling sound at 80-100km/h)

Thanks to all, I have some soft racks that i use on one of my old cars,(not the best for the paint) but most efective on old cars that have not the best paint job. Will not go near the 4mo with them.
