  • Bora 4Motion - Haldex oil / filter

Hey all, have seen a few threads on changing the oil/filter in the haldex in a 4motion, but having discovered mine's never been changed at 91,000kms, I thought I'd pose the question - what possible side effects could this cause?

    thanks

Nada as yet... But working on it...

Wouldn't worry tooo Much, normally only gets changed when the fluid drops or color.

Mine was changed at about 90,000 and all is good.

It's due every 60,000km - it'd be worth getting done, to be safe.
      Nothing to see here...

Yeah, I'm going to get it changed for sure. Have just been noticing the handling not quite as predictable/sharp as it once was and was wondering whether the haldex might have contributed...

I'd think if the car is oversteering and spinning front wheels more than before then it could be that haldex doesnt engage rear wheels on time because of thin/used up oil.
This is just my opinion and im no mechanic. I didnt notice any difference when they did my haldex oil and filter so.... no idea
