gearbox shims

Hi guys - sorry for multi-forum posting but I'm stressing out and can't sleep - do any MK4 owners on here do their own gearbox rebuilds and might have some shims they'd sell/swap/trade?

Just something to ponder, last rebuild I did was on a mk2 gearbox. I got a shim kit, has sheets of different thickness (brass?) sorry for got what metal, you just cut them your self.
May not be what you want to do. But if your in a bind it might be a option

thanks Alex, but no, different kind of shim. These are rings and much thicker - around 1mm - and precision ground
