After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. • S3 Cluster for MK4 Golf

Hello, so I've got a Audi S3 first gen cluster (96-03) and I was wondering what the process is for fitting it in a MK4 Golf. Has anyone been through this? Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

From memory they are the same shape so will physically fit, but there is a few wiring issues...? I haven't done it so cant confirm, just recall reading it.
The question is, why put a dated looking S3 one in?

Yeah the shape is a perfect fit. I assume it's just wiring based on the one (very outdated and broken pictures) thread I read.

What other alternatives are there? I just had the S3 cluster so I thought why not.

        pm IanPGonzaga on here.
He can fit you with a Full Screen MFD into your stock cluster. Much better option and much more functionality.

Could be an option, I'll think about it. Thanks
