I agree, it doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg to get a great, shiny finish. If I could work out how to insert images off my computer i'd show what I mean

www.photobucket.com or www.imageshack.us for uploading images.
They can also resize and compress images for you as well but the easiest way to do that is probably on your PC with MS Paint or Microsoft Office Picture Editor. This will also cut down on your upload times.
Both sites then provide links you can copy and paste into here to display an image.
Hope this helps.
I've been doing some research and it seems Zymol, Autoglym, and Swissvax make some really high quality stuff. I can't believe I'm now looking to buy a tub of car wax worth more than $100!!
HitmanR32, try www.carcareproducts.com.au. They have a heap of quality stuff and some good beginner packs.
Im pretty bad, i have a whole tub/container full of detailing goods.. autoglym, clearkote, megs, etc etc... lol! i dont even want to begin what ive spent!
been a bit slack though, i havent done my car in a good 2-3 months properly. quick 3-4 hour polish yes but nothing severe! neglecttt! argh!
Ok, this is from a day's work with Meg's paint cleaner, deep crystal polish then 2 coats of Carnuba wax, applied then removed with a rotary buffer, the final buff with a lambs wool fine finishing pad
Next major detail i'm looking at filling all the stone chips and scratches, hitting it all with a claybar treatment, a quick sand then full polish
washed then clay barred with clay magic blue clay bar.
Essentially a 4 step polish
Menzerna Power Gloss on Yellow edge pad
Menzerna Intensive polish on Green edge pad (2 passes in places)
Menzerna final finish on blue edge pad
Menzerna final finish on white edge pad
Alcohol/water mix wipe down
P21S wax to seal it in
Microfibre cloths from Aquatouch Ultrasoft were used throughout.
i couldnt help myself, had to crack into my car a bit today as it was looking very shabby (imo anyhow lol)
spent a few hours on it, will get around doing it complete top to bottom in time for autofest and then dovw probably.. as for now just to keep myself happy
