Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

This is awesome - especially the conversion! Didn't know there were any brought to Aus originally - or is it a private import?

          Thanks mate

Never sold here! Was a private import from the original owner back back in 2003. Only 3 owners including myself! I've been hunting one for years hahah

There's a light gold diesel one kicking about as well, but I haven't seen it in a long time.

              Was an ex-UK import.

Ooo wheat beige, that would be sick. TDI even better!

I know of 2 green v5s, stus one and another green auto in qld
                Silver in ACT
Another silver one in an insurance ad on TV a few years ago
Light blue in Melbourne (jap import)
Black one in Melbourne spotted by a number of people over the last few years
Talk of one or two other sightings but probably just people getting confused with b5s ha. I'm sure there is more out there

                    You're a running gear.

I'm excited to have it all looking nice again
