Maybe I should have a chat with Pete at Belconnen, he seems to be more into the modding side of things.

You need lots of special tools to swop diffs around, but you can put a cupra guts into a vr6 case for $1000-$1200. Then just bolt it into you car.

The last one of these I did is now with KIILZ in Brissie.

might be a dumb question but do we even have cupras here? how would you go about gettin cupra box guts here? if we dont have them here would they have to be sourced from overseas?

where were yours sourced from KI11Z?

We have cupras here, but not many. There are a few other donor boxes, like 16v Toledos and Imported Passat boxes.

I did KI11Zs box with the guts from a Passat or Cupra, I forget which. I have others if anyone wants to have a go

Do you think its a better option than the shorter diff ratio?

Loon how much would you want just for the guts, not the installation?

                    your in sydney arent you?

your joking yeah? $50 bucks for postage for a cupra gearbox.
maybe i just dont understand the theory behind postage but i would charge more. but im not complaining. ill defs have to consider that! thanks man!

would the cupra box bolt straight up? or is that asking too much...
