      How about a VR6 Lupo?

Back in the 70s, there was a Golf V8 (Porsche) in Germany.

Venom Motorsport built a VR6 Polo a few years ago. There's a few around

It's difficult to do something different nowadays - there's so many loaded-up Yanks and Poms that have $100k to blow on an old Veedub and pay someone to do the work :!:
The polo of richards at venom was built by dubsport as were many others the first being in 96 a black 2 door reg plate pilet,
Venom motorsport do not do conversions they only sell tuning accessories and parts.

And in 2001 Dubsport did the first lupo vr6.

Hey synsro was this the one built by Sbarro a black one where the rear end used to lift up scissor style whilst on the move?

Hey mate after the two smashes that old mk3 had im surprised it still goes anywhere. I can only praise the thing, the wife walked away from it twice. I did like that car, good to be different, only one delivered and sold in Tas new, there have been a few brought over since.
Wish i had some pics of the mk3 with the front left ripped off and pushed through the door, the car sitting arse into the fence after a 520 degree spin in air, only after going across the medium strip twice and all that only after hitting the armco at 120kmph. Yes, after the wife took a little nap while travelling home, all that had the effect of waking her up real quickley. 6 months in the body works and she looked brand new all over again.

Probably mate, its a wonder the thing even went. The c.v joints had lasted 14 months without ****ting it before prang number two and we lost her for good. They must have been close to going again, it went through two or three sets in the finish. She did a great job of pranging that car.
