I have to set aside about a day and a half to detail this thing properly. As per usual, there's a few strong stratch marks from a massive makita rotary buffer that I noticed just on the bonnet tonight, so the car will probably need about 6 hours of polish attention to bring it to spec before I seal it (and then wax it once the sealant has cured). I'll get it better than spiffy in a week I'm hoping

Got another pic today, after I put the side trim on...I'm loving the side trim, looks so tough imo! I took the back strips back off cos they both didn't clip in properly, so I might need to buy some new clips from VW. anyone got the part number for it by chance?

edit: gah, the picture's not uploading...it's another pixelly one anyway so it's nothing special haha. Hopefully I can get Ray to take some photos for me tonight

Actually it feels pretty weird! They look odd to me at the moment because I was so used to seeing it without them. Btw, not going anywhere near a euro lip. NA lip for me. One of only two in the country and I'm pretty proud of it!

Very nice mate, I'm glad you came over to the polar bear side of thinking... seriously, a polar bear would kick a pandas a**** and this picture shows that, it makes the black arches look a bit dumpy (they can and have worked don't get me wrong), and I'm glad you went whole-hog with white handles, has that top of the line model, V.I.P feel.
