Allllrightey! I've finished doing the car, and I turned it on this morning to hear that sweet, sweet engine noise FIRST GO! I was so chuffed..A coolant hose popped off because it wasn't put on properly but after I fixed that all was fine.
I have two weird problems lol.. First is the wheels. They're shockingly un-aligned (they steer on their own!! )
Second is this brake issue I'm having..I can brake fine, but sometimes (especially when coming to a stop at the lights) my brakes might seize (almost as if ABS kicks in) and shudder and the pedal pushes back up at me. I thought it could be a fluid issue and I will check to see if there's air in the lines, but is there anything I missed?

where abouts did you buy these items from. wanted to get a nice cat back exhaust, then perhaps extractors and front pipe in the not to distant future. any ideas..??
Does anyone know a good exhaust place in the inner west or east sydney area.?
I actually bought my exhaust items off a mate who was working with Graysonline at the time. I bought them for stupidly cheap prices....
Wheels came from GOLFBALLS in WA, they were cheap as chips too. I no longer have coilovers, everyone can ask Jayjay why..
Oh and Dom, thanks for the words mate. We took out and put back the driveshafts so the wheels are totally misaligned. Thank goodness I don't have my new wheels/tyres on there, they'd be getting munched!

So get a wheel alignment somewhere competent and bleed your brakes and clutch again.
Good work with making it run.

Thanks man. Would you happen to know how much brake fluid I need to bleed the brake system?
Nope depends how full it is.
Its like $9 for a bottle of fluid. I usually buy 2 so that if you run out of one bottlr, you have backup
Its also good for it to come out of a sealed container, not be sitting around in a bargain sized drum

One step ahead of you mate I bought 1litre of brake fluid (2x500mL bottles, $7.50 ea) the other day and have only used just over half a bottle topping up and bleeding the slave cyl. You reckon I'll have enough left to do the brakes?

Lol thanks Ray. And thanks Eric..yes that VR note is beautiful after getting my license back and receiving my long awaited freedom. If I'm free from study at all this week, I'm gonna try and wrap my wheels and stick 'em on the car and get the wheels aligned then.

oh how are your control arm bushes? only ask cos i found out mine were buggered when i got an alignment done 3 months ago. replaced them since and it and i have found out that my tires have been chopping .
im guessing the control arm bushes can have an effect on your alignment. especially if they are stuffed.
just a warning
