Help no spark.

Hi guys, just chasin a bit of info, my wifes mark 3 is turning over but doesn't seem to have any spark. Any ideas (coil, ignition module???)

If I had to place a bet I would say coil. We have had to replace 2 over the years (and 250,000k's). Has it leaked out any black gunk?

Thanks Guys I'm in Berwick in Vic. I haven't had a look yet, my mate gave her a tow home, so I will have a look this arvo. Anyone know a good parts supplier around my area south eastern Melb. I got my coil off them in early 2007 for $140 IIRC. Dealership was $250. Same unit, same manufacturer.

Mine went like turning off a switch - 100% working to 0% working

Got one from a volks place for $160 a bit more than $100, its already been sent otherwise I would have bought your one. I didn't get back online afterwork until now. Thanks again Peter, do you have many parts for sale.

I've got a few bits and pieces from a Seat Cordoba and the the front 1/2 of a Vento I wrecked. The coil was used to start the Cordoba and test drive it it for 10 minutes before I stripped it.

Best to ask if you're after anything specific.
