Airbag Light On (94 VR6)

So yesterday the airbag light decided to come on for the first time and i'm not sure what to do to start diagnosing it.

When i shut off the car and start it again, the light goes off, but the moment the car starts moving again the light turns on again and remains on for the entire car journey.

What should i begin looking at to try and rectify this or at least narrow it down?

Clock spring.

i'll try to use the clock spring from my old steering wheel first.

i used the old clock spring from my ripped steering wheel and all is good for now
