Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Vr6 bbs 15in wheel weight

    Hi,

I'm looking at getting these 15's onto my polo 9n3 gti. Just wondering if anyone knows the weight of the naked wheels and/or if by chance someone knows what they weigh with 205/50/15 semi's on them too?
    thanks
    sam

Sorry, I should clarify as I'm not sure how many different BBS's might have been specc'd for the VR6 - I'm talking about the mesh style ones that are 15 x 6.5 ET43 5 x 100. Are they the ones you reckon are heavy. Tyres will most likely be R888R in medium compound or soft if I can get it.
