  • VR6 Suspension - coilovers - wanted to buy

    Hi fellow Mk3 people

I have a VR6 and it has lowered springs and is far too low for a daily drive. I would like to know if anyone has some descent, excellent quality used coilovers for sale.

OR if anyone can advise of great coilovers that I can purchase in Australia to have fitted.

The wheels I have on it now are great looking, they are too large for the height of the car at present and the wheel wells. I would like to keep these wheels for now and eventually upgrade to more appropriate wheels at a later date, along with a very long list of upgrades and fixes of some DIY work from the previous owner.

    Cheers

Hey mate have a photo of your car as it sits now?

Have a look at these MK3 Golf FK Coilovers they are a good price and ride well. They are height adjustable which means you can set it at the height that you want and not have some of the issues you described.

      Hey timiteo

Here is a couple shots of it as it sits now. It seems I have also done the passenger rear bump stop now as well, as the tire is rubbing out badly. I can only have one passenger and absolutely no-one in the back as the rear tyres scrub out badly. Thanks for the advice and I will look these up and get them fitted ASAP.

Cheers and thanks for your advice.

How did you get that look with out coils? But tbh coils are always abit rough on Aussie roads, I've got raceland ones, not bad but sometimes abit too stiff.
