The best thing about ebay now is that sellers can no longer leave negative feedback to buyers

We are finally safe to give negative feedback and ZERO STARS for every unsatisfactory purchase without consequence!

Its only a matter of time before those prices start adjusting themselves. Large posters from the states in uber padded UPS airfreight boxes didn't cost more than $24 from the East coast so yeah... they're making a mean profit. Alot of the Chinese sellers do this as well.

Tim, I reckon you should ask them for access to their suppliers and open up an ebay store of your own!!! Cheaper postage ftw!!!

I've been having a look at some of the other stuff they have on there and i've sent em an email to ask how much the postage would be for all this:

Item - ebay item no - link
VW Golf Jetta MK3 3 Chrome Euro Gear Shift Frame Trim 230258608821 Link
VW Golf MK3 3 Euro ABS Badgeless Sport Grill GTI VR6 AE 360058589762 Link
VW Golf Jetta MK3 3 Euro Chrome Heater Fan Control GTI 360058589942 Link
VW Golf Jetta MK3 3 GTI VR6 Euro Deep Bumper Spoiler AE 230259499740 Link
VW Golf GTI Jetta MK3 3 Hood Lifts Struts Shocks Damper 230258609351 Link

I know I can probably get some stuff here, but it might just end up cheaper to order it in one bunch... looking at their shipping prices, i doubt it...

I have found that alot of the companies on eBay are dropping the prices of the items and increasing the shipping charges so they dont have to pay as much for the ad once the item is sold. But yeah they are also ripping everyone off for normal shipping charges, it cant really cost 100$ to ship a piece of plastic!!

Ive asked how much extra shipping is if I bought a few other small items off them like the gearboot surround, even if they put it in the same box as one of the grills. Theroretically, it shouldnt cost any extra really

We should send in a group email to them, make your shipping prices reasonable and you will get our business, otherwise jam it $40 postage for a shift boot trim? I realise some places make the item cheap and the postage expensive but the $19.90 price of the trim certainly aint cheap, seen them that price with reasonable postage, Ebay UK from memory.

I just got a reply from them again about shipping on the gearboot frame surround, and even if it was stuffed inside one of the boxes for the grill, they still wanted an extra 20$ for postage..... cumon!!

A group email might be worth a shot hey

I bought my badgeless grille from these guys. The guy's that installed it said the fit was really bad and hard to get on, although I was happy with the end result. Looked fine. Delivery was quick, two days. So ask Eric (tassie Euro Mk1) the new owner of the car and see what he thinks of the quality.

TM tuning have really good customer service replying to my emails in a matter of hours and from what I've heard sell pretty good product. They they have a variety of badge less grills for around $60 US http://www.tmtuning.com/vw/ . I'm almost certain they would be provide reasonable postage as well, I wanted some spacers from them so yeah I wouldn't mind a group buy of some other products as well, if theres enough interest of course...

Odd... I asked a question on Friday about a set of headlights, they responded pretty quick the rep must have just left the computer or they just closed ]

No matter, theres alot of stuff on that site I'm interested in... Just say theres a $500+ group buy you need postage for and you should get a response rather quickly I suggest to everyone thats interested to have a look on the site as it may be a good opportunity to get a few other items with virtually no postage fee.

Same, mines at least $220 atm, just wait till you get a response about grill postage and then we'll decide whether its worth pursuing through them. And make another group buy thread with a 1 week deadline for submissions and payment, we should be good after that

i just brought 2 of the vr6 lips and 2 of the badgeless grills, just recieved them today actually.

i imagine this is probably just unlucky but both of the grills were damaged. the top bar of one of them was snapped off and the other one part of the attaching plastic taps were snapped off.

                            the lips were fine though.

though i had them sent to indiana in america and my dad picked them up and brought them back. but they were broken inside the boxes that goingfast put them in.

they also didnt send what i ordered for like a week and a half after i paid for it on paypal.

i dont mean to talk crap about them. it was just a bit of a hassle thats all. and i still dont know what to do about the broken grills. does any one have any idea? i dunno if they can be plastic welded or not....should i get in contact with goingfast?

sorry if that puts you off buying from them. thats just my experiance in the last month with them.

I'd ask for a refund, with the shipping charges they put on it should be insured to the hilt. If they don't respond put a claim in through paypal.

Steve had an issue with bad packaging for his badgeless grilles. Don't know if they were from the same company though.
