Coils for cl golf 97

Alright i got coils from a vento, took of the rear suspensions and put coils on however they werent long enough when we tried pushing the wheel hub up, because it would push the axle up into me exhaust piping. ( which is blockinh me from pushing my wheel hub up and screwing my coils) anyways they are supposed to fit just need some input of what i can try?

Exhaust needs to be changed.

Did you use a jack on the bottom of the brake disc/hub to get it up to the top so you could bolt it in? Is the exhaust stock? I'm assuming it's not an aftermarket 3" exhaust with a commodore muffler on it considering its a CL. Shouldn't be an issue with the stock exhaust

Yeh well it keeps hitting the wishbone at the rear preventing me from jacking it up the entire way :/
