Hey guys, i have recently acquired a second mk3 for parts (i wanted to have a spare 020 my reverse sounds pretty rough) and was wondering what else should be striped and stored i dont have the space to keep her for any long period of time. I am going to take out the 3 working window regulators the one that doesnt work rear driver side is the same in my car. Anyways and hints tips and tricks apreciated.

I'd keep the side mirrors, never know when someone might snap them off.
Front reflectors, they sometimes like to drop off so having spares will be handy.

id start with most of the stuff that isnt colour or model specific. like your headlights/tail lights, stearing wheel, grill, front splitter, reflectors, vents..

I swapped headlining and seats as they were in better quality then in my daily, parcel shelf too. Reflectors and bottom vents, headunit if it has one.
        Mk3 2.0. Mk3 VR6 CC. Future Mk2?

Also the coolant flange in my daily has cracked/leaks when wiggled but everything i look up the flange is side mounted on both these cars its at the front. Are they different or can i just order one that has the same amount of 'outs' for sensors and pipes?

I'm currently parting a Mk3 at the moment, it's on gumtree and has been interesting to see what people have needed/wanted. What I've kept as spares or already sold,

                - Grille
                - Headlights & taillights
                - Window regulators/motors/mechanisms/rails
                - Badges if in good condition
                - Alternator
                - A/C compressor
                - Rad/coolant hoses as spares
                - Gearbox
                - Wheels/Suspension
                - Front/Side indicators and front bumper vents/reflectors

Someone also wanted the fuel tank (sale went through plus I couldn't be ****ed removing it!) window wipers, airbox. Plenty of odd bits and bobs. I'd advertise it because from experience people have contacted me for parts that I didn't even think of. Keep it for as long as possible and remove everything that's small to medium in size that'll fit in boxes.

Thanks!, i will try to keep as much as i can it just comes down to space and hoarding, if you know anyone that need stuff let them know i am not allowed to post on the forums yet as selling, but it is on gumtree.

I'd be interested in the glovebox

Edit: Glovebox handle (didn't see your location)

Are you going to try and strip out as much as possible and then just scrap the frame? What's your plan? (I'm in the same situation with a donor car and am roughly figuring out what I'd like to do)

The jury is out on that one bud just deciding if i should fit the glove box to the other car as it doesnt have it.

Yeah pretty much just gutting the car sell what i can more of a learning curve as well and then scrap / give away the shell
