Thanks for the comments guys, makes the work and $$ worth it hehe

Houso - the texture is nice, similar to most leather bound OEM wheels I'd say, not too grippy, not too slippery, just right I think Isotta may make a suede version but not too sure?

Ah excellent, thats what I wanted to hear! Hmnn it sounds good, I was considering re trimming the wheel, but that would have ended up to be too much work.

Suede does sound nice though, I shall have to investigate further !

Just came across your carsales link, and you've lowered the price again..

I reckon, you should strip the mods off, sell them, put stock stuff back on, then sell. You'd get what, $2k min for the mods?

Lights, swaybars, strut brace, wheels, suspension, seats, etc.

Just a thought, but unless someone looks at it and knows what those things are, it might not mean much when they price the car up in their head.

          Food for thought.

Thanks guys I have a fairly interested party i'm waiting to hear back from at the moment, hopefully it'll all go through but not counting the reddies until they're in hand. I did think about stripping but I'm not in a massive rush to sell so I'll wait it out a bit longer.

I reckon those seats are great. And the easiest way to fix tatty VR6 ones

I have seen heaps of people go, oh my cars not selling, take the mods off and sell them and it still doesnt sell cos the market is slow and then eventually sell it for less than they wanted anyway.

I reckon leave it modified and hold out for the right buyer.

That's the plan for now Matt, the drop in new car prices should more than offset any loss on the VR I hope. It's a good time to buy but not so good to sell as you know.

yeh dude if you don't have to have the money ASAP then you are selling it the right way. VR6s will always sell, but it may take a while for the right driver to see it.

I agree - leave it modded. That is the sort of package that I am after (in 6-8 weeks) as it has been done properly - no rush mods, all good gear says enthusiast not hoon to me. Just wish the cops understood that difference.

Funny you should say that, I was actually complimented on the car by a copper at an RBT once. I was very surprised to say the least. Unfortunately I have also been on the end of a more ignorant cop at a service station who asked me if the car was registered, just as a **** stir because of the mods I'm sure.
