  • My VR6 updates FINALLY!!!!

    Hey Guys,
    Been a while coming I know, a combination of long hours, malfunctioning digital cameras and sheer laziness have all combined in me not doing a piccie update for far too long. Anyway, list of mods since i last posted piccies;

    Cobra Daytona seats
    Arrowspeed 17" multispoke rims
    Isotta steering wheel cover
    Isotta gear knob
    New leather shift boot
    Euro front lip
    FK power look headlights

    The seats were a major pain in the a$$ and I had to wait about 2 months for the damn subframes to arrive. I think it was worth it in the end though, very comfy and supportive. The rims also took me ages to get, but that was largely due to my indecision on what to get, and thanks to all those who made suggestions on the wheels thread Happy with the way they look Thanks to Tim for the front euro lip, not easy to see in these pics but looks great. Comments welcome, even derogatory ones

            Thanks guys, sorry for the ****ty pics, camera is poop

            Shami - The seats and subframes were purchased from Revolution Racegear, $1600 all up, seats were on special for $1200 the pair, normally $900 each plus subframes around $190 per side. Allows you to bolt the seats straight in without any dramas though so worth it I reckon.

                Thanks Ray, didn't want too blingy, but not too dark either, like u say the front end crystal/chrome thing needs to carry through

                          Thanks guys, looking into getting the rear seat re-upholstered to match Stevo, but i think more engine power may be first

                          Isotta steering wheel cover came from a place called "Crowder's Customising" in the US, they have an Ebay shop. Was about $90 shipped and is a great fit, has great feel and best of all looks almost OEM, very happy with it, but be prepared to spend a little time on it to get it perfect and if you need any tips PM me

                            Ahhh... the magic touch I see I'll definately have a look at it my wheel was a bit slippery due to the crappy cold weather today and though how good it would be. Whats the texture of the material like?
