Do the pedals fit straight in? Been looking for what options were out there!
That steering wheel looks wicked too man!
The clutch and brakes pedals do, yes, but what I'm coming to realise with MK3's is that everything seems to be needlessly difficult... It damn well took me almost 30 minutes to put the things on when it should only take a few minutes at best!
The accelerator pedal was not a direct fit unfortunately so had to somewhat customise the rubber holding on to the pedal to make it work.
Killing it mate! Cant wait to see it all in. Floor mats off ebay? swear i saw a similar set for sale.
If you're near sydney i can help you with the audio wiring.
Thanks mate! Yeah seeing as how my car audio/electric skills are next to zero on a good day, if you could help me out that'd be so awesome! Happy to shout a beer or three for your troubles
Regarding floormats, nah they werent off ebay. Got them from a place called Matcraft (Car Mats - Mats for All Car Makes and Models of Vehicles | Matcraft) over in WA. It's custom made to fit the MK3's. Also got the embroidery done for free as the bloke I was dealing with gave me a deal. Looks like this :
ALthough, they stuffed it up because I requested a drivers footrest cutout (the rectangular leather patch thingy) but they sent me one without it. Trying to get that sorted at the moment. Have to say though, pretty nice upgrade. It's amazing how nice the interior can look with a fresh set of floormats. The old ones were on its last legs and the driver side had a hole in it so it was due for a replacement
