Oil cooler seal

It's a 59mm diameter, 5mm thick with two inside flaps. T4 uses same seal I believe.
Where can I get one ASAP in Victoria?

If you ordered one from VW tomorrow morning, you'd probably have it Tuesday morning.

Otherwise, try your luck with Imparts and HSY.

A bit noob, but do I just call up the dealership? Can I go to the dealership and ask them?
Where would be the closest one I can go to, to do this? (P/C is 3083).

Go to your nearest VW dealer, and head straight to the parts department with your VIN, and ask them to order in what you need.

I'm fairly sure it's part 038117070A that I need, but would rather ask someone with more knowledge on here before I go around asking for the wrong part...
From my researching, the symptoms people described match mine so I think I am on the right track.

From what I can see it is likely that this has failed, as the whole cylinder that houses the filter is covered in oil, and if that seal were to fail I would expect that to happen.

Ah yes, found it.

Shows two part numbers for that seal, which you'll only be able to confirm with VW using your VIN.

There are 2 o-rings for the oil cooler, one on each side.

038117070A is between the cooler and the filter adapter
038117070 is between the cooler and the cover

Haven't installed the part yet but having some success in eliminating the problem.
Can someone tell me what this block in the left of the photo is? The one with 3 plugs.
