In every state and territory's vehicle registration and modification rules. The only time they are accepted is if it is the vehicle OEM that says a particular one is OK.

Or if you get them engineered........

I believe the only real time you will actually have an issue with them is;

a) as stated above you have a real obvious amount of poke / track increase & the it is blaringly obvious to the cops / rego inspector that you have spacers fitted.

b) if they are found to be the cause of a major accident and the police actually inspect the car & fine that the fitting of the spacers actually contributed to the accident.

I don't think in a minor accident the insurance company would look that closely at your car to find you have an "illegal modification", again unless its blaringly obvious.

well that's my opinion anyway.


Just make sure they are decent material, fit 100% correctly, & you tighten all bolts / nuts adequately.
