MS would be ok and 4130 weighs about the same as MS.

Sorry dude but if it's mainly for looks and only mild competition then there's nothing wrong with MS.

    Edit:

And by the way, your car looks really cool man. Props for something different. Keep up the good work.

thanks man. I am in no rush to do the half cage, i figuer i have till november to get it done.

Thought i'd do the driving lights a bit more legal, and wired up a couple of switches. 2 switches, both activated by the high beam. One switch activates the current set, and the other switch will activate the roof set, when i build the fibreglass pods for them.
The roof set will feature 4 lights. 2 100mm, and 2 75mm. both sets are 55w narva's, and will be in pairs on either side of the windscreen, just above the A pillors. I'm also considering a roof scoop.

Its funny people go a 4130 cage over a MS cage but in the end u may as well go MS due to CAMS regs... They say bcuz MS is stronger than 4130 u end up having to put in more chromoly bars so in the end it weighs more than going ms

The advantage of 4130 is its torsional rigidity. And it doesn't fatigue as bad as MS, provided it is stress relieved.

          But the price!!!

for the price MS is the biz. really (atm atleast) you're more worried about the look, rather than stacking and rolling over. so go the MS and you'll be laughing!

For that price, I might even get something made up!...

                    lol, yeah its good.

Its got a new pipe on it too now, which is realy menacing. Its better now, the cups where the other lights where are gone, as is the front lip, and i fixed the drivers side headlight.

                        that's pretty cool.

need a blue triangle for the battery, and some numbers, and you'll be set!

Yeah, the bunyip state park FTW!

That spot is good for the pics, but less good for driving. big holes, and massive rocks coming up through the road. You can see some of it in the last pic.

                            Stickers are organised.....
