you run the HIDs behind the lenses dude.

if you find that the light your lenses throw is too weak, you put in a brighter bulb. if that still isnt bright enough, you upgrade to HIDs

might not seem relevant just now, but when you fit the lights and find that it MIGHT not meet your expectations, youll come back to this thread

it's not relevant because i have a cracked lens. i need to find a replacement lens, as you say the HID is behind the lens, but it would still be behind my cracked lens, i'm looking for a new lens
