as some of your may know i have myself some new brakes all im goin to say is 330mm fronts i want to do a rear upgrade from vr6 rear to something bigger what can you guys suggest???
Proper brake bias is important. If its wrong then braking turns into hell. Especially at speed. It's bad enough with stock vr6s! The big issue would be that most braking systems are engineered for the car they were originally designed for, so going for mk4, porsche, etc brake systems will just throw things out wildly. Which sucks.
Of course you could just go some kind of sheer madness (alcon, stasis, AP racing), you'd need a brake bias adjuster which is highly illegal on road cars.
