  • Your thoughts: Rear "boser"

We all know and love the front boser:

    Both angry...

    ...and the sleepy:

But what about the rear boser? I'm starting to see quite a few pics of them on some pretty crazy Mk3s and I can't say that I don't like them. They look odd at first, but some look pretty sick! What do you guys think?

I must say, it's different, and nice. I don't think I'd do it to mine, but it's nice.

I think I like it, not sure about carving up my rear lights though, unless they make special ones you can buy specifically for that mod?

IMO, No go. jus looks a bit odd really. the back reminds be of a porsche cayenne cause of the fat top line (about the lights, below the rear window)

          I don't like it really.

They look alright, but it's just making the Mk3 look like something it's not, like a Mk4 or an S3...

Yes and no. It's not bad, but it means the rear lights need to extend inwards now to keep the balance, which is very beemer like.

Haha it looks goofy. I know someone on here that was selling a smoked heckblende, forgot who it was though.

yeh i saw that. its something different i agree, but then gain, how different is it really? I've got DIY headlight project that i am working on that (as far as i know) is a definate original. more details in a new thread tomorrow

what i mean is that alot of people seem to be doing it... so it really isn't that unique. Personally i like it; simply because it involves more work than just bolting in a new set.

If I was going to attempt something like this, it would look very different to this... got no idea how (lol) but it just wouldn't be the same
