Hey guys, having a bit of an issue with my '95 VR6 OBD1.
I used to have a super intermittent problem where I would start it, revs would go up as per usual and then die down and cut out, would do this a couple of times, then wait and start and it'd be fine.
The other issue would be if you rev past like 3000 when it's cold (realise I probably shouldn't do this anyway) it would cut out and idle would go extremely rough and very little power. This would go away after a little driving.
This morning I started it and it was immediately doing that same rough idle and rough through most of the lower rev range and very little power pretty much all the way to work (about 40 minutes) until the last bit where I was sitting at the lights and took off and was immediately fine again. This is the first time this has ever happened.
On the way home it was rough all the way again.
I thought maybe the MAF sensor so tried unplugging it cause I heard if it runs better unplugged it could be that? But it was the same.
This is pretty much the first thing to go wrong on my car since having it, it's a genuine 120,000km car with original chains. Sorry for the extremely long post. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
