  • Pickles auctions ?

Hey, I own a 94 gl and It's an auto, can't complain car was free from a dad's mate who didn't want it anymore.
Car runs but there's was a big hole in the bottom of the radiator , so my dad took it to a friends auto shop just to get the cooling system checked out, and look for any major issues , blah blah blah ordered new radiator and it's on it's way, but as I'm on my Ls and on 17 I want my first car to be a manual and not an auto.

So I haven't had too much luck finding many wrecking mk3s , but has anyone bought any donor cars off pickles salvage auctions , there's a vr6 on there ATM in qld but too far for me

Or would it be better to goto the wreckers and source the parts for a conversion ?

I'd say it'd be easier to sell the car and buy a manual instead.
A guy on here posted about having converted an auto to a manual. Maybe he can shed some light on the process.

Looked like your old one. Can't imagine many other dark coloured 3 door vr6s in qld.

Moment of silence please. How do you lose control of a sub-200hp fwd car?

In all seriousness though, I hope the guy is alright.
