Yeah the pod + shield is a damn ugly setup.

BMC CDA looks horn. I'd love one.

If you have a CDA, i recomend going to a local holden wrecker, and getting the maf pipe from an LS1 and use it to guide air into the CDA. I tok out my carbon canister, and just poked the long sectio down the hle, and the 90deg elbow lines up beautiffuly with the cda. Instant COI. I trimmed the long section so that it has a slash cut in it, so that it doesn't act like a hoover, and defelcts water away.

Lots of info in this thread: http://www.vwwatercooled.org.au/newf...?t=2669&page=4

Has my dual intake setup with standard airbox on P4, worked very well and looked stock when you opened the hood.

Had to move the canister & remove one of the horns.

(Yes one of the pics seems to be my new bike frame, not sure why?)

Yeah it did. Felt better at the top end and gave a nice intake growl.

Also I just found my bentley manual for the golf, if vince wants it he can have it.
